The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recently conducted a Computer Based Written Test (CBT) for the posts of Sub-Inspector, Home Department, UT Cadre. This examination was advertised through Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2021. The CBT took place from 07-12-2022 to 20-12-2022.
The result/scoresheet for the CBT was notified through No. JKSSB (UT)/54/2022-03 (7057013) on 03-11-2023. As per the guidelines set by the Home Department, the number of candidates to be shortlisted for the Physical Standard Test (PST) shall be six times the total number of vacancies in each category. The shortlisted candidates who meet the physical standards will then undergo the Physical Endurance Test (PET) as per the provided standards.

The candidates falling in the consideration zone and who have been shortlisted for the PST/PET are listed in Annexure “A” of the notification. It is important to note that being called for the PST/PET does not guarantee selection, as candidates must fulfill other eligibility conditions. The decision of the Board in this regard will be final.
Further details regarding the date and venue of the PST/PET will be notified separately. The PST/PET will be of qualifying nature.
