The J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released an advance notice informing candidates about the upcoming OMR-based written examination for the post of Panchayat Secretary in the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department. The examination dates and the schedule for downloading admit cards will be announced separately at a later time.

The syllabus for the examination has been provided in Annexure “B” of the notice. It was previously notified in a separate document issued on May 30, 2022. However, there is a modification in the distribution of marks for this particular examination. Instead of 100 marks, the question paper will now consist of 120 questions, with a total of 120 marks. Candidates will have a duration of 2 hours to complete the examination.
This advance notice serves as a preliminary communication to inform the concerned candidates about the upcoming examination. They are advised to stay updated with further notifications from the JKSSB regarding the examination dates and the process of downloading admit cards.
