The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is conducting the Second/Mop Up Round of counseling for admission to B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Paramedical, and B.Sc. Technology courses for the academic year 2023-24. This round of counseling is being conducted in various government and private colleges in the UT of J&K.

The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has extended the last date of admission for all Nursing Programs for the academic year 2023-24 up to November 30, 2023, as per their notification dated October 31, 2023. In compliance with this notification, and in accordance with the notifications issued by the JKBOPEE on September 24, 2023, and October 25, 2023, the Board is conducting the Second/Mop Up Round of counseling.
Due to the limited time available, the Board has decided to reduce the benchmark for this round of counseling. The benchmark has been reduced from 30 to 20 marks. Therefore, candidates who have secured up to 20 marks in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Board for the mentioned courses will be eligible to attend counseling. This decision has been made to fill the maximum number of seats and accommodate more candidates.
